Job Description

The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for conveying Rumah Makan Minang brand, food and service. The Kitchen Assistant is also tasked with supporting the overall operational needs of the kitchen. Reporting to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Assistant is expected to carry out and perform the duties and responsibilities diligently.

Responsibilities

  • Handle basic food preparation
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking according to the standard recipes and operating procedures
  • Portion, assemble or package menu dishes and other food items
  • Process new inventory items and inventory checking
  • Clean food preparation areas, kitchen stations, equipment, tables, cutlery and crockery
  • Assist in cooking and plating of menu dishes according to the kitchen manual, where
  • applicable

Job Description

The Service Crew is responsible for conveying Rumah Makan Minang brand, food and service. The position is involved in driving the business by providing exceptional customer service experience to all patrons. Moreover, the Service Crew is tasked with supporting the overall operational needs of the restaurant.

Reporting to the Manager, the Service Crew is expected to carry out and perform the duties and responsibilities diligently. The goal is to provide exceptional customer experience and carry the brand well.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with patrons throughout the whole process of ordering
  • Provide consistent exceptional service to every customer
  • Communicate with customers promptly to determine their orders and requests
  • Prepare and ensure food quantity and quality
  • Serve dishes to customers for dine-in or take out
  • Maintain cleanliness and excellent hygiene
  • Reach and exceed all goals and objectives, including orders and sales target
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with customers
  • Maintain positive, respectful and professional work environment
  • Provide feedback, ideas and new initiatives to Manager
